Do I have to round up every purchase?	Nope — you can choose to round up to the nearest £1 or £5, and you can set monthly caps so you never give more than you want.
Can I pause or cancel anytime?	Yes. You’re always in control. Pause round-ups, adjust settings, or stop completely — all from within the app.
Can I delete my account?	Yes — just go to your Profile in the app and request account deletion.
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your personal data from our systems. This process can take up to 30 days to complete.
What kind of farms do you support?	We work exclusively with small and medium-sized working UK farms that are working to improve soil health, reduce chemicals, and increase biodiversity. Each farm is verified and shares regular progress updates.
What impact does my money actually have?	Just £12.50/month fully funds one hectare of regenerative farmland — matching the average government SFI grant. Every tap helps transform real land.
Can I choose which farm my money goes to?	For now all funds are pooled into our main central fund to help us boost our impact across many smaller farms; as we grow we'd love to connect people directly to farms and local programs. Watch this space!
How do you choose and verify farms?	We onboard UK farms that: ① manage ≤ 1 000 ha, ② can show a transition plan to improve soil health, biodiversity and chemical use, and ③ agree to share soil and habitat data. Site visits and grant-scheme records are checked before approval.
Is my bank data safe?	Yes. We connect through an FCA-regulated open-banking partner, so Regeno never sees or stores your login credentials. All data is end-to-end encrypted and you can revoke access at any time inside your banking app. We never have access to the money in your bank account.
Why do I have to connect a payment card as well as my bank account?	Your bank account data helps us know how much you’re contributing. Your payment card is how you’ll send us that money. We’ll only take out the amount you’ve rounded up and you can pause or stop your roundups at any time.
Where does my spare change sit before it reaches a farm?	Funds are pooled in a safeguarded client-money account until the monthly transfer window, then disbursed directly to the selected farms.
Is this a donation or an investment?	Today it’s a donation (no financial return and not Gift-Aid eligible). Future Regeno products will be investment-grade, but those will be opt-in and separately regulated.
What happens if a farm fails to deliver on its promises?	We work in close partnership with farms to ensure this doesn’t happen, but in the unlikely even it does and we are unable to resolve a way forward then the monthly funding to the farm would cease and we would cease working with the farm.
How often will I see impact updates?	You’ll get a live progress feed in the app, a monthly email digest, and in-depth soil and biodiversity reports once a year.
Are my contributions tax-deductible?	Not at present—Regeno is a mission-driven business, not a registered charity.
Can I set a minimum round-up or make one-off top-ups?	Yes. You can cap round-ups, set a minimum threshold, pause anytime, or add one-off boosts whenever you like.
Can I gift a subscription to someone else?	Yes! Get in touch at [email protected] and we’ll sort you out.
Do you take a cut of my donation?	We use the smallest possible portion (under 20%) to ensure that your money is having its desired effect when we pass it on to our farmers. This means that the vast majority of your round-up goes directly to regenerative farms.
What portion of the < 20 % fee is processing versus Regeno’s margin?	Typical breakdown: ~2-3% payment-processing and banking fees, the remainder funds farmer due-diligence, data verification and product upkeep.
Do you support vegan or pasture-based livestock farms?	We back farms committed to regenerative principles. That includes arable, horticulture and pasture-based livestock systems with high animal-welfare standards—never intensive “factory-farm” operations.
What if I switch banks or my card expires?	Re-link your new account in two taps; pending round-ups resume automatically.
Is Regeno regulated by the FCA?	Not yet. We operate today as a donation platform; funds are safeguarded via regulated partners. We plan to become an FCA appointed representative once we launch investment products.
